We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Professional Services to lead our European (EMEA) Professional Services team.

We are looking for qualified candidates with a unique combination of leadership, business, consulting, and enterprise software implementation experience. The Vice President of Professional Services is a customer-facing, strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring delivery alignment between Planview and our customers while leading our teams in empowering customer to realize the future of connected work.


Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the EMEA professional services division in concert with the regional go-to-market and go-to customer strategy; aligned with global professional services goals and objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with other professional services colleagues/leaders in driving optimized performance and transformative delivery approaches to continuously adapt to the changing needs of our customers and employees.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and customer services team to identify new business opportunities, drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives, and maximize revenue generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and oversight of services delivery partners.
  • Expertly and professionally address day-to-day challenges when dealing with customers, including conflict resolution, trouble shooting, and resolution of customer issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, customer services, products, and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives, and maximize revenue generation.
Project Management and Delivery:
  • Oversee the successful execution of internal innovation initiatives/projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide executive oversight on a portfolio of complex projects, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks proactively.
Team Development and Performance:
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the professional services division.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, make firing decisions, and facilitate training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Indstry Knowledge and Market Trends:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies relevant to our software solutions and professional services as a practice.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management of Information Science, or Business (or related degree); advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a professional services organization in the B2B enterprise SaaS software industry with extensive experience with complex solution sales and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and agile and project management principles and the expertise to drive effective and efficient delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate prospects, customers, and the delivery team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Experienced ability to remain calm under pressure and show patience within a variety of customer situations.
  • Fluency in English and German preferred.
